Unfortunately the program doesn't have the ability to perform smart blocking in this way Len.
I thought somebody said the BI rule expiry time could be set to one hour? If so, that is a much better choice than 90 days.

I do, because their a huge vulnerability for all of Internet. But Imail/friends doesn't allow blocking by PTR hostname, so one is stuck with other approaches.

no, end users are in no way involved in IMGate, which is SMTP plumbing with no end-user contact.
Users change nothing. You create an A record for mx1.yourchoice.tld and change all your domains' MX records to that new hostname.
