Oh, that sounds like something other than what I was thinking you meant.
Sorry if I pointed you in a useless direction! What I mentioned is for
Windows user accounts where the security setting are setup to lock a user
out if they try to log on too many times with the wrong password. This put a
burden on dictionary attacks for known usernames.

If what you meant is for Imail accounts where your user base is Windows
permissions and the server admin setup the server this way, the fix is the
same :)

Imail 8.x
KWM templates
Windows 2000
Domains are registry based

We have several domains and when students lock out their accounts we have to
re-enable the student accounts from the windows interface. The school's
have their own domains. We can't seam to unlock the locked out users from
the web interface.

Yes there is in Windows 2000 server, it's in the Local Security Settings, in
the same screen where you setup the server to lockout and account after x
number of tries. It's called "Reset account lockout counter after" where you
can set the time interval. I haven't played with Windows 2003 long enough to
worry about that yet as we don't have any up and running yet.

Hi,

I was wondering if there was anyway to make so Domain admin's can unlock an
account that has been suspended by too many password tries. Right now I
have to go into the windows interface and do it.
