Huh?
How could the Blackberry mail server be deleting them from
your Imal server?

I have
no idea. I couldn't even find an option to delete download messages
from Outlook 2002.
I had
a similar problem and it turned out that my blackberry's mail server was
deleting the messages from my Imail.

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Outlook & IMAP...When you create an Imap account, you would get that account's name under the folder list and all its subdirectories. That is for all the accounts you create in Outlook. If you delete it, you delete the account. In Outlook 2002 I haven't found a 1-step solution for this except that you can create a rule applied to the IMAP account to copy incoming messages to your Inbox on your pc. Be aware that after you copy messages to your personal folder and then delete them or move them somewhere else, it won't replicate it on your IMAP account unless you do it manually online.I've been using imap on my work pc and when I travel I have Imap setup on my laptop. I don't even worry about my personal folders anymore because what I get at work I'll get it on the road. Except for the calendar, contacts, todos etc.-----Original Message-----

Subject: [IMail Forum] Outlook & IMAP...I have set up several users with Outlook with the account type as IMAP, so they can check mail remotley via the webmail page & still keep all their mail at the office. It seems that messages will automatically delete after so many days & I can't find any place to change this. Also, rather than mail arriving in the regular Outlook inbox, it creates another folder called mail.mydomain.com. Can I make it land in the Inbox under the Personal Folders? I am using Outlook 2003 & Imail 8.12.
