John, I found an old IMail 6.02 install. I put it on a test machine.
I clipped the registry key to SAC (http://www.visioncomm.net/sac) instead of SMTP32. It WORKS! Cool. Often when you do IMail maintenance, the registry key gets "fixed". You'll want to reimport this .reg file after each maintenance. BTW, SAC won't take effect until after a Stop/Start of the IMail SMTP service. .REG File: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ipswitch\IMail\Global] "SendName"="C:\\IMail\\Sac.exe" Test message: >From <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Fri Dec 10 09:25:14 2004 Received: from dan [172.27.0.30] by dev02.visioncomm.net (SMTPD32-6.00) id A1C760074; Fri, 10 Dec 2004 09:25:11 -0500 From: "Dan Barker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Test Date: Fri, 10 Dec 2004 09:25:12 -0500 Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 (Normal) X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.6604 (9.0.2911.0) X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2800.1441 Importance: Normal X-Envelope-From:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >>>> LOOK HERE! <<<< X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.0.1 (2004-10-22) on dev02.visioncomm.net X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.8 required=5.0 tests=ALL_TRUSTED autolearn=ham version=3.0.1 <<<< LOOK END >>>> X-IMail-Queuename:<b1c7074>; Demo: 2004-12-31 X-RCPT-TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> X-UIDL: 402688150 Status: U Message, not spam HI THERE! Cool, no? Absolutely a piece-of-cake install on a backlevel IMail. I'll add it to the doc. Dan, i have an old version of Imail I'm considering using for a while (6.06) while I decide on a final email package. Do you know if SAC has worked correctly on Imail 6.06 to your knowledge? I didn't see anything in the docs or otherwise.
