You are probably running into a port conflict between KIWI and IMail's Log 
server as they would both try to use port 514 as the SYSLOGD port.

I was using sysxxx but switched to use your tools - which killed my
kiwi log server - [ I could not figure out how to keep kiwi running
as well ]
If you were able to support alternative formats it would be helpful
