Has the SMTP and Queue Manager services been restarted with these settings? I would recommend using the Message Labs server IP in the gateway settings

Subject: [IMail Forum] Setup Imail as an SMTP Gateway

Our company outsources message scanning for virus and spam to MessageLabs.  All our in/outbound traffic goes through them.  How can I force Imail to send all remote mail to their server?  I get hundreds of denied entries on my firewall logs from my Imail server trying to reach other smtp servers.

My SMTP is setup as follows:
Default mail host: localhost
Gatewayoptions: send all remote mail through... checked,
0 ties before sending to gateway
Remote mail gateway: <MessageLabs SMTP server>

Should my default mail host be <MessageLabs SMTP server> and / or leave the Gateway options alone?

Thank you,

Elliott
