Has anyone looked at https://www.smartmax.com/
which integrates with my hosting-controller control panel
and has both Anti Virus and Anti-Spam?
On the other hand, that iMail import in smartertools sounds great.

I'm in the process of evaluation an iMail replacement. SmarterMail is
Ok, but I could not shake the feeling that it really hasn't matured
yet. For example while setting up my test domain, I was able to add an
alias for the domain. During the add process there was a check box to
compare the MX record for what I was entering. I said "no", since for
testing purposes I wanted to deliver directly to the host name. A few
days later, I wanted to add another domain alias. The MX confirmation
check box was gone, and I couldn't add the alias because there was no MX
record for it. Other little interface management issues were also annoying.

Testing for kerio mail (http://www.kerio.com/kms_home.html) has gone
very well, and there's much to recommend this product -- not the least
of which is that it integrates with my chosen AV program (Sophos), as
well as some others. My test users like the Outlook integration that
makes it much less expensive alternative to Exchange or GroupWise, with
giving up functionality for my POP3/IMAP users. It also has some
anti-spam capability, but is not as granular as Declude.

Merak is also on my list to be tested.
