We're looking to move our primary mail server to Exchange 2003 and keep Imail (which is great, but it doesn't have the functionality that Exchange has to offer). - Unless I'm mistaken guys??
The new IPSwitch collaboration suite (ICS) is supposed to offer some Exchange-like functionality. I don't know, I haven't investigated it too much. I have seen Kerio mail server is action, as both a back-end server for Outlook, and an ordinary IMAP server, and it sure seems to offer a lot of bang for the buck. (http://www.kerio.com)
My question is what solutions are you guys using for AV and Antispam solutions? - Mail/Firewall/Client advice would be of benefit.
You can use iMail/Declude as a front end Gateway to your exchange box. Sandy;s made scripts to import Exchange users as iMail aliases to help the gateway defend against dictionary attacks, etc.
