I'm getting the same thing. I talked to support today with no luck yet. I've found that a bunch of RMD files get generated very quickly and if I move all the *.rmd files to a 'hold' folder the problem clears up. I then push the *.rmd files slowly back into the main spool directory, a few at a time. Each time I do this, the queuemanager spikes, but only for a few minutes. This is the only way I can control these spikes other wise the queumanager will max out cpu for more than 15 to 20 minutes.
I tested by doing a fresh install of 8.15 on a newer server with only 5 client domains (vs. 180+ on the other server) and the problem cropped up right away. It seems related to a user who is a power ebay seller and gets a slew of [EMAIL PROTECTED] emails and paypal payment emails. Once he gets a chunck of these at the end of an auction, the queueserver goes beserk, a lot of *.rmd files are generated and my web messaging goes down. If I remember correctly, this all seems to have started with the seperation of the queuemanager. I have been using Imail since probably 1.x many years ago and never had problems as severe until recently. Tech support thought it might be Symantec AV touching the files, but we had already set that to exclude those files as recommended. We have another co-location client using v8.04 with no problems. Hmmmm. I have seen this problem mentioned in the Imail forums and a little on the KB on the ipswitch site, but no answers yet. I'll post anything I get told.
