Barracuda was at one point going to change the wording on the LDAP settings. Exchange is not necessary. I just looked at our model 600 and with the firmware v3.1.10 the wording still states Exchange. Hmm... > I am asking this questions to Imail users who have been using Barracuda: > Does your > Barracuda do a good job on dictionary attacks? I did have it running LDAP with IMail at one point but the LDAP queries were taking too long. I haven't gone back to pinpoint exactly why. I resorted back to verification via SMTP. We have it running LDAP on another server here and it works very well. > Thanks, > Geza ----- Duane Hill Sr E-Mail Administrator http://www.yournetplus.com To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
