These are all LAN (internal) clients. For the most part KWM has been better than the classic web mail.

We've also noticed plenty
of 'oddities' like that with KWM and only offer it to clients than ask for it. We are running IMail 8.15 hot fix 1 on windows 2000 sp4 (all current hot fixes) with Killer web mail templates 4.03 with a DELL 1550 dual PIII 2.0 GHz with 1GB ram and a Intel 1GB NIC on RAID 1’s.
I have just a couple of users in web mail with this issue, out of a total of about 60 users, the problem is while reading an email in the preview pane and then clicking on the refresh icon in the template (not on the browser), they get the “good bye” message and asked to log in again. I have all the time outs set for 120 minutes, don’t see any issues in the log … other users are not having this problem. The workstations are Windows XP SP2 with all current hot fixes (installed all hot fixes today to see if that would help the problem).
I’m out of fixes and looking for help, this would seam to be isolated to just two users and I’ve seen it happen in action, but again I’m out of roads.
Thanks, Christopher Checca Packard Transport, Inc. IT Department 24021 South Municipal Dr PO Box 380 Channahon, IL. 60410 815 467 9260 815 467 6939 Fax |
