Firefox is OPEN SOURCE.  While it does not have the same problems that IE has, there are bound to be others and there is no one person or company "in charge" so there really is no "support".
 
You either get the microsoft problems, and the ability to sit on hold for days at a time and not get help or your get Firefox or another browser.  Each has advantages and disadvantages.

Yah, don't use Firefox.  I've given up on it.  There are HTML anomalies, and my experience with their support has been meager.  Too bad.  I was hoping.  Maybe they'll get it together.
