Before I get bashed for not reading the KB, I already have and something is not clear.

I am wanting to configure a backup spool someone else in the world, actually about 10 miles away from the primary, and I don’t know what to set Mail Relay Options to for the backup spool. I don’t want just anyone to be able to send mail, but I can’t open this up to relay for everyone since I need to allow the IP of the backup spool on the primary.

So, does anyone else have 2 IMail servers setup in a way where the second will hold mail till the first is back up and running? If so, can you give me a few pointers?

BTW, DNS is already configured and I had this all working before, because on the backup, I allowed relay for everyone, but ran into issues with the ISP of the primary due to SPAM relay.

Thanks.
