I don't use an external database, however, I know changes were made in
8.14 that had to do with ODBC. See below link for details: I hope this helps.

I have the following error
ODBC Driver Manager and ODBC Resource Dll is different versions.
C:\Winnt\system\odbcint.dll is different from
c:\winnt\systemodbc32.dll.
This causes IMAIL to crash when starting Iweb Calander Services during
the install process. Also Imail Startup.dll failed.
Any thoughts?
