No this setting (VrfyWithMailFrom) is an alternative to be used in a peering environment so IMail can be peered to other non-IMail machines.. This is not how the Verify mail from works (which is what I think you are talking about). The Verify Mail From check is done with a RCPT TO already

I have a minor issue with a local (small) ISP in my town; they don't allow the VRFY command. I would put their IP in spamskip but we receive viruses on occasion from its clients. We don't do any business with any of their clients; it's all personal mail.

I've found the VrfyWithMailFrom reg entry mentioned in the knowledgebase (IM-20031119-DM01).

Would this workaround allow more messages to pass the Mail From test than when using the VRFY command?
