I mean, which spam or virus filtering processes follow one another related to the standard steps of the SMTP service?
Before deciding on any purchase, I am trying to find the ideal solution for load distribution of email and mx servers including handling the dictionary attacks, spam filtering based on blocked server lists, keyword/expression searches, and virus defense, etc.
What is the ideal sequence and how does Imail differs from that?
I am assuming based on our logs that the number one load on our email server these days are dictionary attacks, but what are the next ones?
If we consider 3rd party applications used parallel (I mean "serial" with Imail server, how much and what part of the defense should be installed on the Imail server and how much on the MX server?
