Then I did a 'restore' from the backup file on the old box to retain the account settings and such. It's worked great in the past and no other users are complaining of problems like this guy is. I noticed he is using an IMAPI client instead of a POP3. I don't know much about IMAPI or if that could have anything to do with this since it's obviously a server side problem. If it was on a CD then the files are most likely set to read only due to the media. I don't think this is the problem. The Max Messages is the total number of messages in the account. Therefore if they are storing sent items on the machine this could cause the setting to be too small. Check the user's setting to see if a limit got applied there if you have none at the domain level.
