Yep, thanks. I didn't know where to find the size of the message being sent, but now I can see it is at the end of the ldeliver line. It turns out that this was the fourth in a series of messages she was sending him with large image attachments. When she called in about the message she was asked "was this an abnormally large email?" she said no it was a normal email and she had been able to send him others without the bounce. Go figure.
