Reboot your IMAIL computer.
Create a new DSN with the MyODBC driver from our
site (if you already have it installed, then great). Use a simple DSN without
spaces / dashes / special characters such as "IMAILDB". Put in the host, the
userid, the password, and the database name. Test it.
Put a fresh copy of the ODBCUSER.DLL file from our
download package (8.14+) into your IMAIL directory and rename it to
myodbcuser.dll or something SIMPLE without special characters. There are a
couple reasons for this. A fresh copy with a different name shouldn't interfere
with any other versions in memory. In the IMAIL administrator specify the FULL
PATH to the myodbcuser.dll file (example: c:\imail\myodbcuser.dll), put in the
DSN of IMAILDB (or whatever you created) and specify the table or keep default.
Save the change, try and add a user. In a good, not even perfect, world that
should work.
