There are tools provided by Ipswitch to delete email older emails, but nothing that I know of to archive out older emails and save them elsewhere. I don't know for sure, but it may be possible to copy the mbx file, clear out older emails from the original mbx, and clean out newer messages from the archived copy. Just a thought...

Let me start by stating that I am not a programmer and I am not a very good script writer. What I am looking for is anyone who may be archiving email based on its age. I would like to some how execute a script (or program)each night that will search each user's main.mbx and move all email out to an archive folder (also located in each individuals file folder) that is older that a number of days that can be specified by the script. I run the Imail database for my users. Is this too much to hope for?
