hey everyone. not to start an argument but how about some comments on the mis-directed bounce errors coming back from SpamCop. From what I read, it looks like any server that accepts a message for delivery and then has problems delivering it which generates a postmaster bounce gets listed by them. The way I interpret this is they are going against the whole concept of a peer-to-peer network such as the internet where messages would "hop" from machine to machine until it gets to its final delivery address..It seems they want all mail to go directly to the mailbox machine where the final delivery address is resident. In other words Forwards, Auto-responders, vacation messages, etc can cause a lot of problems with this.
I have my opinions but rather get a consensus before I get into the mud with this one. Eric S To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
