If the Exchange server is down for some reason does the Imail alias method hold the mail until Exchange comes back on line? I would think the SMTP engine would retry a number of times depending on how Imail is set up, but I am unclear on this. I also could not find the answer in the knowledge base. I did find info on the store and forward though but would rather use the alias method.

The alias way where each user has an alias on the Imail server which then forwards to the Exchange server via an additional SMTP e-mail address added via RUS.
