Ok, here is the information Brightmail wants:

LDAP Server

Server: IP or DNS name of the LDAP server)
Port: Port 389 is the default and what Imail uses)
Type: You can choose Active Directory, iPlanet/Sun One/Java Directory
Server, Exchange 5.5, Other .... I choose other)

LDAP Server Login

Anonymous bind
Specify a username and password.

You can test this setting with a TEST LOGIN button. I try anonymous and it
says the user doesn't have sufficient permissions. So if I enter the root
username and password that I have specified in the LDAP settings tab of my
primary mail domain I get a LOGIN TO LDAP SERVER FAILED

LDAP Query

Query Start (base DN):
Query Filter:
User Login Name Attribute:
Primary Email Attribute:
Email Alias Attribute:

There is an AutoFill button which attempts to fill these in for you. If I
press that it won't autofill for me, I think because I can't log in to the
LDAP server.

Does this help at all???

Thanks!!!

Chris

- What is the suggested query? What attributes need to be returned?
What object classes? These are crucial pieces toward building an LDAP
query.
