I upgraded my 8.15 HF1 IMail server several weeks ago to newer hardware– luckily the old server was sitting in the corner waiting to be re-tasked or recycled.

Fired up the old box 8.15 on my test network and installation was uneventful, started and ran with no problem.  Web and POP3 access worked with no problem – of course, no connection to the outside world to test it under load but the mailboxes all seem to have survived without problems on the 7 or 8 accounts I tried.

So go ahead, upgrade your production environment!  Then let me know how it went – cause I ain’t gonna be the first to upgrade a live IMail instance!  LOL!

Not I...rebuilding my Imail server does not sound like fun right now. I'll wait for the other guinea pigs...errr people to try it first.

I am waiting for someone also,  Ran the executable and looks like it creates a new directory structure.  Cancelled the install.
