Title: Dictionary Attacks
Addendum,

When I go into the IMAIL interface on the SERVER and pull up an account, there is no FIRST NAME or LAST NAME populated in the fields.  If I enter the date and click on UPDATE, the data disappears!  If I STOP the LDAP server, the name fields are re-populated, but it does not clear up the SMTP error referenced in my initial message.

I have updated the ODBCUSER.DLL file as suggested in previous posts (pursuant to the initial problem listed below) and this has no effect.

Subject: X-IMail-SPAM-Connection -SPF-None [IMail Forum] Unable to SEND mail in Microsoft Outlook after Update to 8.2

I have two customers, so far, this morning who are unable to SEND mail using Microsoft Outlook now that we have upgraded from 8.0 to 8.2

In all cases, we require authentication.

In both cases, when the users try to SEND a message, they are prompted to enter their username and password.

When I have then check their authentication settings, the box for USE THE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING MAIL SERVER is no longer checked and the Outlook program is asking for their username and password.

Any suggestions?
