Hi Jim,

That will work just fine...but definitely stop the services first. The info
is stored in the registry, so you can export the registry key, do a search
and replace on the path under the domain keys, and merge the settings. Save
the original and make a copy for editing so you can revert back if you
discover anything that doesn't work.

Darin.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Move Mailboxes.

I want to move my mailboxes drive from using c:\imail to using d:\imail.

A search of the archives found an article on how to change one domain by
just changing it in the imail administrator screen, but did not find much
else (I may not be searching for the right thing). One would assume you
would need to stop services, move the directory structure, change it in
Imail administrator screen, and then restart services.

Will this in fact do the trick? Are the other issues to consider?

To go one step further, I have quite a few domains defined (one with an ip,
and ~50 virtual) so I'd really rather not have to go into each one and
change it... Is there away to use the registry to do the same -- or are I
asking for trouble doing it this way?

Anyone have a checklist, or a link to an article on how to do this.

Thanks,
Jim
