Sorry, Dan.

If you reply, and change the subject, and remove the body, you have NOT
created a new thread. You HAVE created an new ordering if someone does a
"Sort By Subject", but the "thread" is controlled by the list server
software. Unless you change the headers ("References:"), you are on the same
thread to many/most readers.

THIS message is on the same thread also. I didn't change anything, so the:
   References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

header should still be in your copy of the message.

If you go to the "original" John Hunt message, it says:

   Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

in the headers; thus, we are on the same thread.

RTFM. This ain't exactly Rocket Surgery.

sorry, forgot to remove the other stuff but I changed the subject so your thread is fine.

What does this have to do with who John Hunt is?

I think you hijacked the thread...

Below is spam that I received two of this morning. You can't see the '=20' in the original email but a view of the source reveals them. Would a filter looking for =20 actually get these or would it cause problems?

Submitting your website in search engines may increase your online sales =
dramatically.=20

If you invested time and money into your website, you simply MUST submit =
your website=20

online otherwise it will be invisible virtually, which means efforts =
spent in vain. If you want=20

people to know about your website and boost your revenues, the only way =
to do that is to=20

make your site visible in places where people search for information, =
i.e. submit your=20

website in multiple search engines.=20

Submit your website online and watch visitors stream to your e-business.
