That might work as another means of deleting messages, but I'm still curious as to what might be the underlying cause to the problem.

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Mailbox size being misreported

Sometimes if I have issues I have people create an IMAP account to delete messages – sometimes this can clear up mailboxes for me.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Mailbox size being misreported

I'm using IMail 8.05 and I'm having a problem where some of my clients mailboxes will show up in the web interface as being somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-2GB when the actual size on disk is 30-40MB.  The client is unable to delete any messages via webmail, and all messages keep coming into their mail clients over and over again.  The only way I've found to fix the problem is to delete the main.mbx file and start over.  I know this isn't the best solution, so I was wondering if anyone might have a better one.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
