OK Christopher,   We are still looking into implementing this as well, but we are trying to run it on the same box.  Although I am considering changing that.   We have a Barracuda in place that gets all email first, I then want to forward mail to the Symantec gateway to double check for viruses, then forward to IMail.  I understand I would need to change the port IMail is listening on to 1025 and tell Symantec SMTP to send to that port on the IMail system.  My problem is that we need to enforce authentication also.  N your message below it mentions routing all external mail to the gateway, how could I do that?  That would at least scan outgoing mails  before sending them out to the outside world, the downfall is that it would not scan messages going to IMail domains.   Thanks, Grant Griffith EI8HTLEGS, A Division of ETC (812)932-1000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Christopher Jones Sent: Wednesday, June 01, 2005 8:50 PM To: IMail_Forum@list.ipswitch.com Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Symantec SMTP Gateway (Enterprise Edition) and Imail   Yeah I can understand!   All you need to do is have your external mail routing to the Symantec SMTP box.
