Hello List

My factory has an annual shutdown, in this 1 week period, no-one accesses their email. On the Monday back everyone tries to download 100+ emails each.

This process is VERY slow. How can I improve the response time of IMail or my network?

Environment
100 users on W2K SP4 or XP SP2
100Mb LAN

Mail Server
Imail v8.14
W2K SP4
Dell Xeon 1.8Ghz
1Gb RAM
Dual 1Gb LAN
