You do not understand how SMTP and e-mail work? If I send you an e-mail, I
do not and can not authenticate to your server. Your server will see that
the e-mail is to a local user and accept it.

Your server has to accept it. Otherwise, no one from the Internet would be
able to send you e-mail.
