Hi, Yes the older versions of outlook (including 2002) had problems after the PST reached 1.82 gb (32 bit limit). However the new 2003 is said to support 24 TB (HUGE!!). However it is advised to restrict the size under 10gb . Well just a suggestion if using a pst file which is about to reach a boundary try creating a new PST file and set that as default. There is no limit on how many pst files u can create. Yes and of course archiving is there to help.

I don't know if that is the case or not. We had a employee here who could not send out emails, the error was "The send store is full, please remove some items and try again" ( or something along those lines). Well, there was nothing in his "Sent Items" and his outbox had about 10 items in it as they just sat there as he got the error.
I archived everything older than 9months and low and behold the emails started to send out. I checked and he had not hit 2GB, but 1.7(and change)GB. Maybe it was just a fluke, but whatever it was, making the PST smaller fixed it.
