We just brought a new server on line to replace our main production email server (imail 8.15hf2 began having queue issues yesterday - (Thank you Eric @ IPswitch for your assistance. We elected to try a new server after queue went down again later last night). New server is HP DL370 dual Xeon with v8.20hf2. We also run Declude JMPro, Virus std, hijack, Fprot as AV and also Sniffer.
We perform gateway services for a few domains in the mix of our normal virtual domain services... We have these gateway domains setup in the the HOSTS file, and in the Relay Settings under the SMTP tab; yet outside world will not see these as valid emails/domains... we have stop/start SMTP after changes, rebooted after modifying the HOSTS file, and still nothing...am I missing something else? log file shows: 06:17 18:30 SMTPD(4f1509190000094e) [208.253.112.161] RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 06:17 18:30 SMTPD(4f1509190000094e) [x] looking up vacva.com in HOSTS 06:17 18:30 SMTPD(4f1509190000094e) [208.253.112.161] ERR imail.globalweb.net invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED] I have noticed that there is a missing ">" at the end of all the log lines when reporting the error...
