This clearly shows something else is using port 25. Do you have any other mail service running (IIS SMTP, SMTP Proxy from and AV application, etc)? Turn off IMail's SMTP service and telnet to the port to see if something answers. Another thing could be you have run out of sockets. Try running a netstat -an to see the state of your stack

What version of IMail I had the same issue with 7.1x - and ended up being forced to upgrade to 8.1x to resolve the issue. IPSwitch would not help troubleshoot the issue since support on previous products ends something like 90 days after a new version is released. Darrell

    Hi all,
We have a new problem popping up out of the blue.
Smtpd32.exe / SMTP service keep casing Dr.Watson faults about
    every 2 hours.
    No ideas why.
I THINK it has to do with a spam feature from the log file.
The log can be found at http://dev.beachcomp.com/log.txt
    Anyone have any ideas?
    All constructive input is appreciated.

    Dave
