Bingo!

Today's report:

LocalDeliver 2284
RemoteDeliver 332

No "extra" lines.

Evidently one of those xxx_Use registry keys caused IMail to do something.
Not sure what, but it has now stopped.

Thanks all, for the suggestions.

I'll try that tomorrow. Yesterday, I killed all the registry 2's and 1's on
things like xxx_Use, and cycled everybody.

We'll see how that goes. If that doesn't get it, I'll try your suggestion. I
wonder if I'm losing messages? Sure hope not.

If the reg looks fine the only other thing I can think of is that the
settings
didn't save properly. You might want to try going to each of the content
filters
and changing the setting back to 'current host', stop/restart SMTP/QManager,
then change
back to 'none', and stop/restart SMTP/QManager again.
If that doesn't work, you may want to turn the logging on from the
'Antispam' folder under localhost
to see which filter is still running.

I'm not too sure what that KB article had to do with Anti-Spam, but I
checked anyhow. I have the one Domain with an IP, and 23 with $virtual0xx,
and a matching 24 domain subkeys.

The change I made that precipitated this occurrance was changing the IPd
domain's alias from "mail02.visioncomm.net, mail.visioncomm.net,
mail01.visioncomm.net" to "mail02.visioncomm.net mail.visioncomm.net
mail01.visioncomm.net".

I'm half tempted to put the commas back in and see if the problem goes away.
But since I now know the commas make the non-last alias fail, it's not a
good solution<g>.

My biggest fear is that uncontrolled spam-filtering might be identifying
False Positives and I have no idea what is happening to them. Are they being
deleted? Tagged? I'm not sure how to track what IMail is doing since it's
been told to do nothing at all.

I have seen cases where a registry crossup can cause spam checks to be
performed
even if the options are disabled in Iadmin.
You may want to check the registry for errors as described in this article:

Anyone know where the first line of this message is coming from? I have all
IMail spam checks turned off, but the SpamContent counter is still
incrementing. I upgraded to 8.15hf2 about 1 week before this started
occurring.

What can I see in a log to help? Obviously, there is no Spam Log.
