We have a customer http upload script that we use. It integrates right into the site, they can click the link, browse for the file to upload, upload it, then it sends an email to the site owner that the file is there, they click the link to download the file, then on successful d/l it deletes the file.
It also calculates the file size and charges accordingly since we are on 90th percentile bandwidth at our hosting company. Then it sends the amount they owe for each file to our online accounting system and is automatically added to their monthly bill. --Shaun ---------------------------------------------------------- Shaun Mickey 270net Technologies Phone: 301.865.9370 Fax: 301.865.9883 www.270net.com "Internet/Technology Solutions for Business and Government" ---------------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Patrick Childers Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 7:17 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] OT: FTP Server Hi John, We use this solution: http://www.unlimitedftp.ca/products/files2u/ ~Patrick >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John >Tolmachoff (Lists) >Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2005 3:28 AM >To: [email protected] >Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: FTP Server > >I am going to need to set up for a client a FTP site whereby their >customers can go to a web page (preferably) and follow a few simple >steps to upload files to my server in a unique one time directory, and >then have the FTP server software notify my client via e-mail that a >file has been uploaded and in what unique directory to where they can >then log in and access and download that file(s). > >This needs to run on a Windows 2000 Server.
