Yes, I believe we are in the same boat with regards to Kerberos knowledge. I have a similar problem when pam details come up, my head starts to hurt ;-) Clients? Servers? Pass the Motrin.

The next step in the process is to get pine to login to the imap server without asking for a password. The goal/idea is to have a user ssh to our shell machine, he gets his ticket and be able to then use pine connected via imap protocol, use the ticket, and not be asked for a password as is currently the case. Someone else is primarily handling the testing but I'll post later with results/problems. Does this sound like something that should be in the realm of possibility?
