Hello,
It looks like v2006a is returning \NoInferiors on the folder "INBOX"
even if it is in the mix format. If I create folders under INBOX, the
server still returns \NoInferiors for INBOX even though I can list the
existing mix subfolders if I ask explicitly and these subfolders do
not say "\NoInferiors".
This is causing some problems in that:
* Thunderbird can't make subfolders of INBOX
* Thunderbird can't subscribe to existing subfolders on INBOX.
Is there is a specific reason why a mix-formatted INBOX must always
return \NoInferiors?
Ok. I understand now that this happens as a choice by UW IMAP since
"INBOX" is a special folder in its own special name space and the fact that
"INBOX/" can have inferiors is specific to my setup. As such it is not
"wrong" that a list of "INBOX" says \NoInferiors.
However, that doesn't help as Thunderbird has the above mentioned
problems with subfolders of INBOX.
So the actual question at hand is: is there any easy way to have UW
IMAP not return the "\NoInferiors" flag when the INBOX is formatted as
"mix"?
I.e. a patch of the mix code or something?
Thank you,
