I am investgating the performance problems with traditional UNIX format
mailboxes in imap-2006a.
I am aware that appending to such mailboxes is slower due to UIDPLUS
support. However, I have been able to reproduce additional slowness in
SELECT and FETCH times which is now supposed to happen.
I have not seen this performance problem in other formats.
This is currently the only thing that is holding up promotion of
imap-2006b to release status.
