Mark, An interesting symptom of using MIX format seems to be emerging. As mail is received (often 1MB+ attachments) then deleted, the net result over time is that there are many small .mix??????? files left behind in the directory. I have an INBOX which is kept reasonably tidy (100 or so messages) but the INBOX directory has many many small files left behind. Might there be a cleanup type tool to handle this? My first thought is to use mailutil to write to an mbx style box (temporarily) then write back to mix, which will create one initial mix file. Over time I see this as being a potential liability to the format?
