Error in mix metadata file sequence record
That certainly indicates a corrupt metadata file. Please send a copy of
the .mixmeta file to me as a MIME attachment.
This message occurs at open time when one of the following occurs:
. the first character in the file is not "S" (start of sequence)
. the second character of the file is not a hex digit
. there is no CR LF following the hex value in the metadata file.
In addition, after the mailbox is open, this message can also occur if the
hex value is less than what what previously read (or written).
What happened to this mailbox? This is not something that is reasonably
expected by any scenario that I can envision? Did someone try to edit any
of these files using vi?
What version of the IMAP software are you using?
