I heard reports of this in the past, but I have been completely unable to
reproduce it in my Vista systems. Nor have people who use PC Pine or PC
Alpine had any problems with SSL/TLS on Vista. It just works for me. In
fact, your report is the first that I have heard of this issue in about a
year.
I wonder if it may be a server issue. Are you certain that your server is
running the correct SSLv23 server method on SSL, and the TLSv1 server
method on TLS?
