Pawel,
Yes, we have seen the same problem here. We thought that converting to
mix boxes would have helped the situation considerably. We used to use
mbx format. However, much to our surprise, we still see very heavy IO
when delivering messages with tmail to large mix boxes. :-(
Don't know what to do about it. It strikes me that there is a lot of
unnecessary reading and writing going on when messages are being
delivered. Perhaps Mark can enlighten us.

Hi,
I have an IMAP server (2007k, 2007.398) running on a rather old
hardware. I see that delivering new messages with tmail to mix
mailboxes with 40000+ messages can take several seconds (about 5-6s).
Delivering to a small mailbox takes about 0.1- 0.3 on that hardware.
Has anybody else seen similar problem? Is there anything that can be
done about it apart from upgrading the hardware?
Pawel Salek
