FWIW, I'm about to release a new version of Prayer which handles dual use
mailboxes. The only reason that it hasn't to date is that we don't use dual
use mailboxes, and it wasn't just a trivial fix.
That would be the preferred solution if it is at all feasible to get an
updated version of Prayer to Joel soon. I might be able to come up with a
way to cripple mix format so that it is not dual-use, but I can't vouch
for how well it would actually work. Most clients have the opposite
problem (failing to handle single-use).
