Anyone using postfix, tmail, and delivering directly to mbx/mix
mailboxes? If so, could you reply with your main.cf/master.cf tmail
lines and any other config pointers?
I believe you need to adjust the default_privs option in main.cf to be
root, if tmail needs to run as root to use -I. This is at least
better than having a setuid-root tmail lurking around....
I'm keen on this thread. Not much help to offer, but a question that
seems to fit -- Has anyone tried to use a postfix 'per-user' delivery
agent to test deployment of mix format INBOX to a few folks at a time?
If I could figure out a way to do a few users at a time, I'd be more apt
to get the transition from mbox to mix done! Or is it an all or nothing
proposition? If I recompile with mix as the default format, perhaps
then I can start transitioning a few folks at a time with mixcvt. I
feel like I'm close to visualizing a path to mix format, but I can't
quite see it. Any illumination would be much appreciated.
