HI~ Mark:

i'm fresh hand using UW-IMAP 2007e.
Noting that the server responsed : * NAMESPACE (("" "/")("#mhinbox" NIL)("#mh/"
"/")) (("~" "/")) (("#shared/" "/")("#ftp/" "/")("#news." ".")("#public/" "/"))

when i fomatted a NAMESPACE command in client APP using : space =
(NAMESPACE**) mail_parameters(stream,GET_NAMESPACE,NIL);

but when i look for stack info,i found var *space only got attirbute "#shared/"
with nothing else. how is it going?

After examine RFC 2342, I found 3 namespaces supported by imapd: personal
namespace by default, share namespace ,and other users' namespace.
i noticed that imapd using "~" instead of "#user" to be other users' namespace
prefix. i tried to send <LIST "" "~someone/%"> command to imapd,and imapd
returned OK response with none available maibox info.
And now i am wondering how imapd detect other user's namespace? With which
operation or mechanism can i make some of my mailboxs reveal to someone
else(not anyone)?
Does this goal should be used with ACL extersion?

best regards~
thanks
