No, it is not an official "fork", it is the best code that Mark Crispin
- one of the few people who really understood IMAP - felt he could put
together after leaving UW. And that said there are bits of it that
might be improved, but it works.
Who the fsck cares about Linux distros?
The code works, better than the old UW-IMAP source, just build it and
use it.
