On Friday night, we upgraded our imapd server's hardware & OS to Solaris 10

As our users come back, we're seeing some log messages
Jan 27 10:38:40 HHHHH imapd[8566]: [ID 273760 mail.alert] Fatal error
user=XXXXXX host=XXXXXXX.AI.SRI.COM [NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN]
mbx=/path/to/a/mail/folder: impossible empty keyword
Jan 27 10:38:40 HHHHH imapd[8566]: [ID 746981 mail.alert] IMAP toolkit crash:
impossible empty keyword
I don't yet know how many mail folders are impacted by this. I don't know
what triggers these errors (no one has complained yet)
I see this error message in mix.c (our mail is stored as mix mail folders),
but I haven't yet looked to see what the code is doing (but I will).
If someone else has run into this issue and can shed any light, please let me
know.
I wouldn't even bother trying to dig into the UW imap code. Go get Mark's
"Panda" kit and try that first. I know that there were a number of low-level
warts in the UW code that Mark fixed in his Panda kit that probably aren't going
to be fixed in the UW distro and I know that there's been at least one
addtional patch added to the current Panda kit after Mark's death.
