I am trying to stress test imap-2000c on a linux server using ldap for
authentication. The server is running RedHat 7.2 with dual CPU and 2 GB
of memory. We would like to open 2000 imap sessions at the same time
but when the number of imap sessions approaches 990, the following
message starts to appear on the error log and no more imap new logins
are accepted.
pam_ldap: ldap_result Can't contact LDAP server
I am sure that the ldap server is not the problem. Any help in solving
this problem is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
