Without having the protocol log to know what the actual error that the
server returned, it's kinda hard to say what really happened - your client is
performing an action on your behalf (APPEND to the Sent), and the append is
failing, but you haven't given enough information to know why it
failed.

I'm using a linux imap client (netscape 6.2.2 also kmail) in combination with "Microsoft Exchange IMAP4rev1 server version 5.5.2653.23". Sometimes after sending a message, the copy into the sent folder failed. I get an error msg like "Your Send operation was successful, but copying the message to your Sent folder failed." This seems also to be size dependent. For small messages it works initially, but once it's locked I've to terminate the application and restart. Also it seems to be client independent. What's the problem?
